From Indo-European Language Tutorials.
1. Never assume that the foreign grammar will be just like your mother language's.
2. Use the language everyday and study whenever you possibly can.
3. When learning more than one language, always make sure to learn the same vocabulary in all the languages. Try to learn them equally, or the dominant language will take over in your thinking.
4. Listen to the language as much as possible.
